SCIENCE: Bring Volcano supplies next Tuesday, Jan. 22nd!

Skiing was a BLAST!

Everyone who went skiing today had a blast! They ripped it up and there was tremendously improvement in everyone's skiing ability! WAY TO GO!

Please do not forget to bring your materials for your volcano tomorrow as the building will commence!

Tuesday, Jan. 14

Skiing tomorrow! Please arrive at the school by 8:30am and remember we will not be returning until 3:30pm-4:30pm therefore you will need a ride home. Also, the concession will be open so students are allowed to bring some money.

The grade 7's will be having a reverse bottle fundraiser this 16th so bring in your bottles, please!

Today the RCMP gave a Talk about Internet Safety and here are some of their tips:
1. Don't give out personal info about you or your family
2. Don't give out any kind of family financial info
3. Be aware: people may not be who they say they are
4. Never meet with someone you "met" online
5. Don't send pictures of yourself online
6. Talk with your parents about their expectations and rules for going online
7. Tell your parents immediately if you receive unwanted material online or are threatened or harassed
8. If it is too good to be true, it probably is
9. Be careful - don't tell online friends your personal problems

I hope everyone had a wonderful Winter Break! I know my family did. Unfortunately though, near the end we have all been very sick. That being said I will not be in tomorrow. If you could be please go over with your child how to behave when we have a guest teacher in our classroom I would greatly appreciate it.
